Stage Two, 618 S. Michigan, 2nd Floor

Panel Discussion (3–4pm)
What will YOUR creative writing career look like? Join us for a special career-focused panel discussion with four distinguished Chicago-area writers about balancing personal, professional, and creative lives as writers. This presentation is free and open to all.

Feedback Reviews (4:30–5:30pm)
Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students at Columbia College Chicago are invited to submit up to 3 one-page items — such as pitches, professional work samples, or resumes — for personal feedback from guests after the panel discussion.

Individual panelists will be provided a select group of submissions and assigned students to meet with in small breakout groups. These conversations are intended to provide students helpful feedback and quick "real world" advice on professional documents, presentation, and next steps in careers.

Deadline: April 28 at Noon

• Format each item as a separate document.

• Bring 2 printed copies of each document with you to the event.

• If you intend to present your electronic portfolio, please bring your own laptop or tablet.

• Submissions will be reviewed as they are received, and based on their submissions, students will receive confirmation of their eligibility to meet with guests.

• Confirmed students will be assigned to meet with one of four panelists, and event will include opportunity to network with others.

• This opportunity is limited to 20 eligible students, and only available to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students at Columbia College Chicago who complete the form below.
